  1. Love the use of color on both. They’re vibrant.

  2. I love the symmetry and colors in the first piece and the background in the second piece is beautiful.

  3. I love how symmetrical the first painting is, and how you showed all of her curves while keeping it simple.

  5. I love your pieces. The colors really stand out against the backgrounds and I really like your concentration with the solar system

  6. The first piece has beautiful symmetry, colors, and form. I think the background could have a minimal galaxy look, but nothing to bold that takes away from the subject. On the second piece , the background effectively makes your subject glow. Are considering adding eyebrows?

  7. Of the two I think the top one is more successful because of the compositional symmetry mentioned by your classmates above. The second one has an ambitious design, but I get stuck at the middle of the face. I understand what you are trying to do, but I think you could pull some of the lighter values in to the section below the eyes. . . it looks like it is unfinished versus missing the nose/mouth.

  8. I love the bright colors you encorporated into these pieces, and the correlation to the galaxy-esque tones and the color of the subjects eyes in the secont painting. (I still wish you'd painted natural hair on the second one)
